Token Registration Agreement

This Agreement governs NavScope's Token Registration process — the mechanism by which a token project or issuer formally claims and verifies their token's identity on NavScope. Registration is a Product Schedule supplementing the Master Terms of Service.
1. Two Registration Flows
Flow A — Pre-Launch Token Registration
For token projects that are not yet listed on any exchange. NavScope creates a reservation for your token on its platform, linked to your DNS-verified domain. Activation is triggered when the token is listed and NavScope's pipeline detects it.
Flow B — Launch Token Claim
For tokens already listed on exchanges that NavScope has indexed. The issuer claims an existing token record on NavScope using DNS verification to prove domain control over the token's project website.
2. DNS Verification
DNS verification is the mechanism NavScope uses to confirm that the entity registering a token controls the domain associated with that token's official project website. NavScope will provide a unique TXT record value to add to your domain's DNS configuration.
DNS verification is FREE. There is currently no standalone registration fee for either Flow A or Flow B. Registration only commences a paid Social Media Articles Service Package subscription. The subscription fee is the only payment required to complete registration.
This Agreement commences on the date NavScope approves the registration (Flow A) or the claim (Flow B).
3. What Registration Grants
- Verified Token Issuer status on your token's NavScope profile page
- Access to the Token Issuer dashboard
- Right-of-reply access for Critical-Question Articles (requires active subscription at time of submission)
- For historical articles (pre-claim), right to submit responses within 30 days of claim approval (active subscription required)
- Future articles about the token follow the client-continuity path (SMSP Agreement Section 6.4B)
4. Liability Cap
Notwithstanding clause 8.2.1 of the Master Terms of Service (which sets a 12-month baseline), NavScope's total liability under this Agreement is limited to the total fees paid by the Token Issuer in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, with a floor of AU$1,000 and a ceiling of AU$50,000. Per clause 2.6 of the Master Terms, this Product Schedule cap prevails over the Master Terms baseline for disputes arising under this Agreement.
5. Token Issuer Representations
By completing registration, you represent and warrant to NavScope that:
- You have authority to register the token on behalf of the issuing entity
- All information provided in the registration form is accurate and not misleading
- The token is not a fraudulent instrument designed to deceive investors
- You are legally permitted to operate the token in your jurisdiction
- You will notify NavScope if any registered information becomes materially inaccurate
