2. Blackout Period Trading Prohibition
During a blackout period, staff, contractors, directors, officers, and their immediate family members are prohibited from:
- Buying, selling, or shorting any Covered Token
- Entering into any derivative position referencing a Covered Token
- Advising or encouraging another person to trade a Covered Token
- Passing non-public analytical information to any person for the purpose of enabling that person to trade
The blackout period for Critical-Question Articles commences when the article is placed in the editorial review queue (pre-publication) and continues until 72 hours after the article is published on navscope.io.
A “Covered Token” means any Token that NavScope has published, or is preparing to publish, a Critical-Question Article about, as well as any Token that NavScope has published a major analytical piece about within the preceding 72 hours.
3. Insider Information Prohibition
No staff member, contractor, director, or officer may use unpublished NavScope editorial content (including article drafts, critical-question triggers, or analytical findings not yet in the public domain) to inform or time any trading activity in digital assets, whether directly or through third parties. This prohibition applies regardless of whether the relevant token is explicitly a Covered Token.
4. Conflict Disclosure Requirement
Any staff member, contractor, director, or officer who holds a position in a Token that NavScope is considering covering, or that enters the NavScope editorial pipeline, must disclose that holding to the NavScope PM within 1 Working Day of becoming aware of the coverage consideration. Disclosures are recorded in NavScope's internal conflict register. Failure to disclose is a serious disciplinary matter.
5. NavScope's Proprietary Position
NavScope does not take proprietary financial positions in any token it covers. The organisation as an entity does not hold, trade, or invest in digital assets covered by NavScope's editorial content. NavScope's Master Wallet (Ethereum address 0x6e62652a1e5aCd4Ad11b9Df3aA489f681d070Dd3) is used exclusively as a USDT payment receipt wallet for service subscriptions.
